Special alloys for heating components
Isabellenhütte offers a variety of alloys that have been specially developed for heating elements and heating cartridges:
- Isabellin® and Centanin®: These alloys are used, for example, for innovative heating structures in aviation, including anti-ice systems for airplane wings and helicopter rotors.
- Novistherm and Centatherm: These copper-based alloys offer a cost-effective alternative to NiCr wire solutions and are ideal for application temperatures up to 400 °C (750 °F).
In total, we offer more than 90 different alloys to meet the specific requirements of each application in terms of strength, heat output or available installation space. The delivery forms range from wire, strand or flat material to powder metallurgical solutions.
In addition to the standard portfolio, you can also obtain individually developed alloys. Our team will support you in the design and implementation of better and more cost-effective solutions.
