Efficient heat distribution in electric vehicles through electrothermal heating systems

Particularly in battery electric vehicles, electrothermal heaters actively contribute to reducing the consumption of electrical energy. By heating armrests and seat belts, as well as the seat and steering wheel, thermal energy can be directed to the passenger instead of heating up the entire interior. In the corresponding heating systems, heating wires are integrated into the upholstery via special mats, which emit even heat when activated.
