ISA®-Nickel-Alloys are the first choice when conventional stainless steels fail

Your main advantage: excellent corrosion resistance — even in aggressive environments such as seawater, salt solutions, fluorine compounds, and chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking.

Meticulous control of the melt composition and homogeneous distribution within the material structure directly result in the mechanical and physical characteristics.

Why are these materials so durable?
All alloys contain at least 63 % nickel and 28–34 % copper. This combination ensures exceptional resistance and toughness – both at extremely low and high temperatures.

  • ISA®-Nickel 400: The base alloy with proven corrosion resistance 
  • ISA®-Nickel 405: Increased sulfur content for improved machinability 
  • ISA®-Nickel K500: Thermally curable – ideal for highly stressed components

The product family at a glance

The ISA®-Nickel product range comprises three variants, which are available in rods, wires and ribbons: 

  • ISA®-Nickel 400 (Alloy 400, 2.4360)
  • ISA®-Nickel K500 (Alloy K-500, 2.4375)
  • ISA®-Nickel 405 (Alloy 405, 2.4363)

Compliance with standards: All products comply with international standards such as QQ-N-281, QQ-N-286, DIN 17743, ASTM B127, and ASTM B164.
