Isabellenhütte publishes its first sustainability report

With the publication of its first sustainability report, Isabellenhütte is creating transparency regarding its already firmly established commitment to sustainability, highlighting the progress it has made, and at the same time providing momentum for its continued development.

The report provides transparency on how the company fulfills its responsibilities as an employer in the Lahn and Dill region—from clearly defined climate goals and a gradual reduction of its carbon footprint to a resource-efficient approach to production. Among other things, it highlights measures to reduce Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions, as well as progress in the internal recycling of materials.

The report thus highlights key aspects across the entire value chain, both within and outside the company: the responsible use of energy, water, and resources; high standards in occupational health and safety; and the focused development of employees.

There is a particular focus on combining technological excellence with sustainable practices, whether through efficient production processes, innovative solutions for an electrified world, or responsible supply chains that respect human rights, promote fair working conditions, and comply with environmental standards.
